It’s about others and Not just your own!!!

The tyrant rain was incessant that day,

Tearing apart the Human habitat all the way

The City Chennai was made to be drown,

The flood water was never so much stubborn

The Rain God was perhaps that day lost his cool,

The roads and houses were converted into pool

The Humans were made to struggle for their lives,

Their nears and dears were perhaps never in such fright

The “monster rain’s” effort fall flat as The Humanity took a new birth

The difference of religions, cast, creed and class

The next morning, all differences were completely washed

The solders of Hope “both with and without Uniforms”

Those who braved the downpour and its cruel norms

To help and rescue their fellow human beings

To show the world that “Life is all about others and not just your own”.
